Telling stories
From a story on the 25th anniversary of a fiery truck crash that set two neighborhoods and a major highway on fire to tales of suicide to what makes a grocery story click to crowd-sourced memories of JFK, my portfolio includes stories told in long-form, in graphics and on SoundCloud. A deep dive into the efforts made to reach, celebrate and program for audiences on the autism spectrum took me from a tiny theater in Croton Falls to Broadway's "Aladdin."
There are stories from inside Sing Sing Correctional Facility, where inmates engage through productions such as "Our Town." Thornton Wilder's play about savoring time takes on deeper meaning in a maximum-security prison where everyone wants time to speed up.
